Wader Toys

For 55 years, we have been producing and exporting "TOYS MADE IN GERMANY" all over the world. Founded in 1956 as a one-man company, we are today a successful, medium-sized enterprise from the heart of Europe. Children in 35 countries on all 5 continents now play with Wader toys. The excellent reputation of our products is our motivation to continue to improve every day. For this we rely on our know-how in product development, construction and production from one source.

Founded by Hermann Wader in 1956, the company is still managed by the family. Marco Wader, grandson of the founder, is now conducting the business together with his father, Manfred Wader. Short distances and fast decisions characterise the management duo and still enable production in Germany today. Because 80 % of all toys traded in Europe originate from the Far East, mainly from China.

For this reason it is a real motivation for Wader Toys to maintain the German location and to not outsource parts of the production. Due to our location in the heart of Europe and our highly qualified staff, we can offer our customers, as well as fast delivery, exclusive items in any customised colour at short notice. At our locations in Radevormwald (NRW) and Elterlein (Saxony) we produce with a total of 12 blow moulding machines from 5 to 30 litres and 35 injection moulding machines with retaining forces from 30 to 800 tons. From our 14,000 pallet bays our products begin their journey to our trade partners and go on from there to children's rooms all over the world.

Quality – of course, and with safety first!

All of our products fulfil standard EN-71. We do not use any heavy metals and Directive 94/61/EC is complied with. Wader toys are also free from phthalate in accordance with the new EU Guideline 2005/84/EC. Apart from the listed regulations both we and our sub-suppliers comply at all time with all other relevant guidelines. Furthermore we rely on critical opinions from external sources. And here too, our products are regularly in the top rankings. This is demonstrated by the numerous renowned "spiel gut" awards.

This particularly also applies to our environment. The use of harmless raw materials and the environmentally compatible production and disposal are important to us.
